My Job
My Experience
I’ve spent 10 years at APCO, including 5 years in our London office. Over that time I’ve mainly covered internationally focused clients including corporate C-Suites, governments, philanthropic foundations, and HNWIs.
It’s a diverse roster so the experience has spanned advising on a range of topics including media relations, strategic communications, crisis work, public affairs, and large advocacy campaigns. I also spent 8 years as Chief of Staff to APCOs global CEO before stepping back from that role last year.
Before APCO I spent time working in the NGO sector in the UK and Brussels, focusing on policy, communications, and government relations especially on human rights, digital rights and surveillance technologies. And even earlier, I previously spent time working in public affairs in Scotland and local authorities in Ireland.
I’ve managed to merge the skills and insights I picked up from this quite diverse range of sectors over the years, helping me bring fresh angles and ideas to a lot of areas of my work as a result.
