My Job
I am an Associate Director and Head of Sustainability at Fourtold, a fantastic purpose-driven, BCorp-certified consultancy that supports clients with a fully integrated approach to public affairs and communications, from strategy to delivery. Daily, I lead a dedicated team, focusing on EU sustainability policy and advocacy, ensuring our clients navigate the evolving regulatory landscape effectively.
My Experience
With a decade of experience in public affairs, I have provided clients with high-level strategic advice on a variety of policies, supporting them in executing successful integrated advocacy and communications campaigns.
Before joining Fourtold, I led Government Relations for Battolyser Systems, an innovative European clean tech equipment manufacturer, overseeing external activities including public affairs and communications. Prior to that, I served as a Director in a global advisory firm in Brussels, advising clients in the energy, industrials, and sustainability sectors. I have also worked with clients globally, organising and coordinating high-level events around COP, G7, and the Global Climate Action Summit.
Alongside my work, I co-lead the Women in Green Hydrogen Brussels Hub, ensuring the hydrogen sector is a place where successful women can build long-term careers.
My Specialisms
My Proudest Achievements
To see young professionals whom I have mentored and helped grow professionally become the next rock stars of public affairs is incredibly rewarding!
My Education
- Master’s degree in Public Law and Political Science from the University of Bordeaux
- Master’s degree in Political Communication from the European Communication School (ECS)
My Languages
French (mother tongue)
English
And enough Italian to order coffee and pasta when I visit Italy!
My Interests outside work
Beyond my culinary adventures exploring every restaurant in town (we definitely need to discuss Brussels’ fantastic cuisine scene more!), I have a profound passion for yoga, particularly hot yoga, which I practice 3 to 5 hours each week. The practice fosters mindfulness and reduces stress, helping me achieve a sense of calm and clarity, especially after hectic days! Hot yoga has become an integral part of my routine, contributing to both my physical strength and mental well-being.
My Favourite Brussels anecdote
One of the things I love most about Brussels is the way we all speak “Brussels English”! You hear it in meetings, at CaffeLatte, or in the EP, and it is a proper bonding experience. We may not speak perfect English, but we absolutely understand each other. And that is kind of beautiful.
