My Job

As Account Director of RPP Brussels, I help organisations navigate complex policy and regulatory environments by combining public affairs, strategic communications, and stakeholder engagement. My role involves advising clients on EU policy developments, building relationships with key decision-makers, and designing advocacy strategies that support their business objectives.

My Experience

My experience is in public affairs, strategic communications, and stakeholder engagement at both European and international levels. Throughout my career, I have advised clients on policy and regulatory developments, designed advocacy and communications strategies, managed multi-country projects, and engaged with a wide range of stakeholders. This has given me a strong understanding of how policy, business, and communications intersect.

My Proudest Achievements

One of my proudest achievements has been leading complex, multi-country public affairs and stakeholder engagement projects that brought together policymakers, industry representatives, and other key stakeholders around a common objective. In particular, I am proud of having helped clients navigate challenging regulatory discussions at EU level, turning technical policy issues into clear advocacy strategies and building coalitions that strengthened their position with decision-makers.

What makes this achievement particularly rewarding is not a single report, meeting, or campaign, but the ability to create lasting impact by combining strategic thinking, relationship-building, and effective communication. Seeing a client move from reacting to policy developments to actively shaping the conversation is always incredibly satisfying.

My Education

  • Bachelors in International Relations. University of Navarra. Spain
  • Masters in Political and Corporate Communications. University of Navarra. Spain (with diploma from George Washington University. USA)

My Languages

Spanish, English, French.

My Interests outside work

Outside work, I have a strong interest in the arts and photography. I enjoy visiting museums, galleries, and exhibitions, and I am always looking for opportunities to discover new artists and creative perspectives.

Photography has become a way for me to explore places, capture everyday moments, and pay attention to details that often go unnoticed. Whether travelling for work or leisure, you’ll usually find me with a camera in hand, documenting everything from architecture and city life to unexpected moments along the way.

My Favourite Brussels anecdote

Most people have a favourite Brussels anecdote. Mine actually starts in Strasbourg (which at this point, isn’t it part of the Brussels bubble?)

For reasons I still cannot fully explain, every trip I make to Strasbourg turns into an adventure. Over the years, I have been locked inside a hotel room for almost an entire day waiting for maintenance to rescue me, seen train cancellations that resulted in improvised journeys across three countries by train, taxi, and sheer optimism, and attended meetings where participants decided that shoes were entirely optional.

The silver lining is that Strasbourg has turned me into a public affairs version of a crisis manager. The experience has taught me that in our profession, flexibility, problem-solving, and keeping a sense of humour are often just as valuable as policy expertise.
