My Job

I lead DGA Group’s Chemicals Management practice in Brussels. I advise industrial clients on EU chemicals, product, and circular economy legislation, helping them turn complex regulatory challenges into workable strategies that protect human health and the environment while supporting circularity, innovation and competitiveness.

My Experience

I have more than 10 years’ experience in EU public affairs and regulatory strategy, with a focus on chemicals, materials, waste, recycling, and market access. Before joining DGA Group, I worked for the European metals sector, including as its representative in the European Commission’s CARACAL expert group on REACH and CLP. That experience shaped my interest in science-based policymaking and in bridging technical evidence, regulatory feasibility, and business reality.

My Proudest Achievements

My proudest achievement is helping build DGA Group’s Chemicals Management practice into a trusted Brussels advisory offer for industrial clients. I am especially proud of the way we work: finding creative, evidence-based solutions for managing chemicals and materials that are credible for regulators, workable for companies, and consistent with protecting human health and the environment.

My Education

I trained as a journalist before moving into European Studies and later building my expertise in chemicals and materials regulation through practice. That non-linear path shaped how I work: asking clear questions, testing assumptions, and making technical knowledge accessible.

My Languages

English, French, Arabic/Darija, and Spanish.

Growing up in Tangier, Morocco, meant these languages often mixed in the same conversation. That has stayed with me and shaped how I connect with people.

My Interests outside work

Outside work, I’m happiest discovering a new city through its food, architecture, and people. I also collect colourful mid-century art glass from places like Biot, Murano, and Malta, a passion passed down by my grandmother that has quietly become more serious than I first expected.

My Favourite Brussels anecdote

I have a few, but the best Brussels anecdotes are usually not the ones you write down 🙂
