My Job
I never planned to build a career in EU health policy, but once I stepped in, I didn’t look back. It’s a playground of bright minds tackling urgent challenges and a place where good ideas genuinely save lives. Today I head the Life Sciences practice at Hanover Brussels, guiding clients through the EU maze with sharp, integrated strategies that help shape tomorrow’s health landscape.
My Experience
Healthcare wasn’t on my radar. I joined pharma as an executive assistant. Just admin, nothing more. Or so I thought. Then, one day, after the merger with another company, my manager called me into a one-on-one. She looked at me and said, “I’m going to give you a chance. What you do with it is up to you.” That moment changed everything. That single act of trust became the launchpad for my professional life. Years later, that same woman would become the godmother of my son.
I started in medical departments at Baxter, focusing on nosocomial infections, which gave me valuable insights into public health. Later, I moved into regulatory affairs at companies like Iqvia, Nycomed and Takeda, managing marketing authorizations and compliance. My growing interest in healthcare policy led me back to studies and into public affairs.
Since then, I’ve worked across pharmaceuticals, MedTech, animal health, and biotech, both in-house and agency-side. I’ve worked with industry leaders like Roche, Novartis, MSD, GSK and Zoetis, and with innovators like CMR Surgical.
My Specialisms
My Proudest Achievements
Between 2013 and 2019 I juggled a full‑time job, a toddler and three degrees—including an Executive MBA. It was intense, occasionally insane, but it let me pivot, deepen my expertise and fully embrace policy strategy. My biggest win, though, is still my family: my husband, our son and the dog who forces me to log off and touch grass.
My Education
I hold dual Master’s Degrees, one in Regulatory Affairs from University Paris XIII, and another in European Studies and Lobbying from Institut Catholique de Paris. I also hold an Executive MBA from HEC Paris with a focus on digital transformation. Most recently, I further expanded my policy expertise with a certificate in Public Policy Analysis from the London School of Economics.
My Languages
English, French.
My Interests outside work
I’m wired for exploration, mountain trails, new spices, fresh challenges. High altitude hikes reset my perspective; it teaches resilience and patience. I also enjoy cooking, particularly with bold spices and global flavors. These interests keep me grounded, curious, and energized both in and outside of work.
My Favourite Brussels anecdote
My Brussels baptism was less ‘grand entrance’ and more ‘comedy of errors.’ Fresh from the (relatively) organized streets of Paris, I confidently set out for Woluwe, armed with nothing but metro/tram/bus instructions I’d scribbled down. Because, let’s be honest, back then, using mobile data abroad felt like a mortgage. The Thalys went smoothly, a clear sign that trouble was coming. Emboldened, I surfaced into the Brussels daylight like a confident tourist… only to perform the dreaded pat-down and realize: my wallet had performed a Houdini act of epic proportions. I had no money, no ID, no plan B. Just pride, and a questionable sense of direction. So, naturally, I decided to walk. To Woluwe. In heels.
What followed was a cross-city trek involving interpretive gestures and enthusiastic but utterly wrong directions. Yet somewhere between the blisters and the confusion, Brussels revealed itself: chaotic, generous, and utterly charming. My feet filed for divorce, but the memory? Worth every blister.
