My Job
industry realities and internal stakeholder dynamics meet. By combining public affairs, strategic communications and association management, I support companies and industry groups handle complex and often high stakes policy discussions. I stay closely involved beyond the initial analysis, shaping positions that are technically solid and make sense in the policy context. Clients rely on me when issues are complex, discussions are crowded and the margin for error is small, as I combine a practical understanding of EU policymaking with the judgement needed to move forward in a credible and consistent way.
My Experience
- 15+ years working at the intersection of industry and policymaking, across energy, climate and energy intensive sectors
- Closely involved in shaping positioning on some of the EU’s most important industrial and transition debates, translating complex realities into messages that make sense beyond experts
- Managing industry associations, bringing together diverging perspectives and turning them into positions that turn EU policy into and economic competitive reality
- Working across the full policymaking landscape, from national capitals to EU institutions and international fora, with a strong sense of where discussions actually take shape.
My Specialisms
My Proudest Achievements
I am proud of my contribution to recent EU debates on industrial competitiveness and the green transition, working with energy intensive industries facing both decarbonisation pressure and market constraints. I helped bring business, economic and market realities into policy discussions, shaping positions that made EU proposals more grounded in how industries operate in practice, while supporting competitiveness, market access and the transition. This helped bring policy discussions closer to how these sectors actually operate and compete.
My Education
- Master’s Degree: European Public Policies and Politics, Katholieke Universiteit Leuven, Belgium
- Master’s Degree: International Relations and Crisis Management, National School of Political and Administrative Studies, Bucharest, Romania
- Bachelor’s degree: Business Management, Economic Studies in Foreign Languages, Academy of Economic Studies, Bucharest, Romania
My Languages
English, French, Romanian.
My Interests outside work
I am driven by curiosity and a strong international outlook. I enjoy travelling and discovering new cultures, which constantly challenges the way I see people and perspectives. Dancing is another passion, where intuition, connection and listening matter most, reflecting how I approach life with a sense of rhythm and openness.
My Favourite Brussels anecdote
One thing I have learned in Brussels is that the most important conversations rarely happen exactly where you expect them. I remember a very structured policy meeting where everyone stayed firmly within their positions, and it was only afterwards, over coffee, that the tone shifted, ideas opened up and common ground started to emerge. It stayed with me as a reminder that in Brussels, understanding people is often just as important as understanding policy.
