My Job

I lead the Critical Issues Practice at Forward Global, advising C level executives, senior leaders, ministers, politicians, and heads of state when the stakes are high and the margin for error is small. I work with clients across multiple regions, I operate at the intersection of politics, regulation and geopolitics. Brussels is my professional terrain, a small capital with outsized influence, where decisions shaping global markets and international relations often take form. After eleven years here, it still fascinates me.

My Experience

I grew up in Amma-Jordan, and began my career in a royal environment, an early education in leadership, diplomacy and precision, where every detail mattered. It also exposed me to the realities of politics at an unusually early stage, an experience that has shaped my perspective and approach ever since. Since then, my work has taken me across the MENA region, the GCC, Europe and Latin America, advising governments, multinational companies and international organisations on complex and sensitive matters involving political risk, international relations, and strategic positioning. A former boss once described my role as a “Swiss Army knifeˮ, indispensable when situations become complicated. Much of this work happens quietly. Success is often measured in crises that never escalate, and decisions that prevent costly mistakes.

My Proudest Achievements

The work I value most is often invisible, when careful strategy prevents escalation, disputes are resolved and relationships are preserved. On a personal level, I am proud of the journey itself, from Jordan to advising decision makers across several continents, always with my accent.

My Education

● Saïd Business School , University of Oxford, Masterʼs degree, Oxford Scenarios Programme
● ESADE Business School, Executive MBA
● Global Certified Sanctions Specialist

My Languages

Arabic (my mother tongue), English, French, Spanish…and one more which I never reveal

My Interests outside work

I am endlessly curious and slightly nerdy. I read widely, play the piano, and love coloring childrenʼs books.

I also have a deep affection for cows, I have adopted eight cows, who may be the purest expression of happiness. Dogs, children and cows remind me of patience, kindness and the simple things that matter most.

My Favourite Brussels anecdote

One moment you are negotiating a delicate decision with a minister or CEO, the next you are circling the Schuman roundabout wondering whether it was designed as a traffic system, or a philosophical test. Brussels is chaotic, eccentric and brilliant all at once, and even after 11 years it never ceases to surprise me.
