My Job

My job is to bring structure and clarity to issues that rarely stay still – as health challenges evolve, innovation redefines what’s possible, and policy tries to keep up. Success depends on timing, trade-offs, and making the most of the full public affairs toolbox.

My Experience

I’ve spent a decade working on EU health policy, both in consultancy and in-house roles. My work has ranged from, among many other things, COVID vaccine procurement at Novavax to the Pharma Package and health R&I policy as a consultant – always with a focus on aligning business strategy with real-world goals. The key is knowing what matters, when it matters, and who needs to hear it.

My Specialisms

My Proudest Achievements

The work I’m proudest of is often the least visible – the quiet alignment behind the scenes that lets something move forward at the right time. It’s not so glamorous, but it’s usually the difference between noise and progress.

My Education

Government, London School of Economics.

My Languages

English; French and Spanish to a level that would raise eyebrows if I claimed fluency without adding a small caveat.

My Interests outside work

When I’m not working, I usually have an intense side project on the go – most recently, a few rough notes ended up becoming an 100-page manuscript on Lithuanian history. That, and keeping up with my high-maintenance Afghan Hound, Oggy.

My Favourite Brussels anecdote

Some of the most effective advocacy I’ve seen hasn’t happened in formal meetings, but in the margins – a quiet exchange before a panel, or a hallway chat that unlocks a next step. It’s a reminder that in Brussels, relationships move things just as much as arguments do.
