My Job
I lead a team of highly talented consultants, collectively we focus on applying our experience and expertise to address our clients’ external affairs challenges. We are driven by our passion for healthcare and strive on unlocking opportunities to enhance understanding, accelerate access for patients and secure support for innovative research.
My Experience
Over the last 20 years, I have built a distinctive profile in external affairs, covering everything from media relations to engaging on public policy. I’ve worked across organisational settings and geographies, in-house and in consultancy. I bring a distinct understanding of what drives business strategy and how external affairs functions can best support the C-suite and CEO office. While I’ve worked for the pharmaceutical and biotech industries directly over the past 9 years, my experience spans the energy, banking, real estate and digital/ tech sectors as well.
My Specialisms
My Proudest Achievements
In my most recent work on Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD), I engaged with the advocacy groups representing patients with kidney disease. Together, six groups set out to build the first global alliance representing CKD patients, which rapidly became a platform for them to engage with policy makers throughout the world and call for earlier diagnosis and better management of CKD, a disease that can be devastating. Launched on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly in New York in 2023, the Global Patient Alliance for Kidney Health now counts 34 members from all regions of the world.
My Education
- BA (Hons) Politics with International Studies, University of Warwick, UK
- MA (Hons) European Politics and Administration, College of Europe, Bruges, Belgium
My Languages
French, English.
My Interests outside work
When not at the office, you’ll find me in a yoga studio or on a horse. I enjoy travelling, listening to Jazz concerts and enjoying the smaller things in life with my family.
My Favourite Brussels anecdote
Did you know Audrey Hepburn was born in Brussel? There is a little blue plaque on a very typical Brussels townhouse in a tiny street just off rue Stassart. Another Brussels treasure discovered during one of my many strolls.
