My Job

Heading the EU Policy Advisory practice in Considerati, I connect, advise and deliver for clients. Our public affairs offering is about delivering exceptional insight, better, faster and moving past empty shells straight to impact. Equally important is to empower colleagues and build a culture of trust, health and fulfilment. (Bio-/Neuro-)tech and health are a big focus of my day to day.

My Experience

With 15 years in Brussels, I began my career at the Standing Committee of European Doctors before moving into an in-house role and then high-impact public affairs positions at top-tier consultancy firms. For over half of this time, I’ve been deeply immersed in health policy, and for the past decade, I’ve focused exclusively on consultancy. I value gaining diverse perspectives, which led me to also work across business, communications, media relations, and other policy areas such as sustainability and technology.

Unusual fact: Interest groups and coalition-building have fascinated me since my bachelor’s studies at the American University, dating back to 2004.

My Proudest Achievements

Client feedback is always the most rewarding, especially when paired with a commitment to lifelong learning. Two standout moments share a common theme: being recognized for working in integrated ways-connecting people, expertise, and timing to create impactful results. Whether it’s public affairs across multiple disciplines, communications, or media visibility, I take pride in keeping coalitions effective and aligned.
More recently, I’m proud to have supported Cornelia in building the Brussels office, a milestone that reflects both teamwork and strategic growth.

My Education

  • MSc in European Politics and Policies, Katholieke Universiteit Leuven
  • Double major BA in European Studies and Political Science & International Relations, American University in Bulgaria

Senior thesis with honours focused on interest group analysis, presented at the Midwest Political Science Association Annual Meeting in Chicago, IL, May 2009.

My Languages

Romanian, English, French, Spanish.

My Interests outside work

I am a holistic therapist who tries to apply the same advice I give to others to my own life. I love spending time in nature, especially around the Carpathian Mountains, which hold a special energy and fond childhood memories for me.

My Favourite Brussels anecdote

Brussels often feels like a bubble. I remember a few years ago, juggling my office life inside the bubble with evening law classes in the “real” Belgian world. The contrast was striking-two very different ecosystems with no shared jargon and vastly different realities. It made me realize how important it is to bridge the gap between these worlds and foster better understanding across them.
