My Job

As a Director in the Brussels office and member of the Government and Public Affairs team, my job is to run towards the fire, regardless of the sector or circumstance. With a focus on integrated EU public affairs, I combine advocacy, strategic communications, issues management, and thought leadership to offer comprehensive solutions to address client’s needs, with a particular focus on the most nuanced or politically charged topics: I co-lead our European Defence & Security cluster, and advise clients facing intense scrutiny and navigating substantial transformations in the sustainability, transport, trade, and bio-technology fields.

My Experience

Over the past 10 years I’ve had the opportunity to advise and support an incredibly diverse group of clients, from leading multinational companies to ambitious start-ups, as well as governments, .Over the past 10 years I’ve had the opportunity to advise and support an incredibly diverse group of clients, from leading multinational companies to ambitious start-ups, as well as governments, associations, and civil society organizations. Prior to joining FGS Global I held positions at Burson, Weber Shandwick, and Instinctif Partners, and provided strategic support for ZN Consulting and Think-Film Impact Productions, alongside other projects I led as the founder of my own boutique consultancy and as Executive Director of a foreign policy youth NGO.

My Proudest Achievements

It’s not the most high-profile wins that make me feel the proudest, it’s seeing a team firing on all cylinders to solve the challenges that felt the most intractable that stand out. I’ll take an understated, underdog win over a flashy slam-dunk any day of the week.

My Education

M.A. in Political Science, EU Policy Studies at James Madison University and B.A. in International Relations from the State University of New York at Geneseo.

My Languages

English, Spanish.

My Interests outside work

Reading – will pick up anything good, but especially love history or a good biography – and board games that require a whole afternoon (spreadsheet optional). Trying new or funky wine bars, classical music, and struggling to make excellent espresso at home.
