My Job

As Associate Director at Kellen Europe, I work at the intersection of association governance, strategy and day to day operations.

I lead and advise European trade associations on strategic positioning, public affairs and association management, working closely with Boards, member companies and Kellen’s dedicated team members. With a particular focus on the agri-food sectors, I help ensure strong and credible representation towards EU institutions and stakeholders.

My Experience

I have more than 10 years of experience in EU public affairs and association management in Brussels. Over the course of my career, I have developed strong expertise in regulatory advocacy, Board and committee leadership, stakeholder engagement and strategic positioning, supporting European associations in navigating complex policy files and translating member priorities into credible, actionable advocacy strategies.

My Proudest Achievements

What gives me the most energy is being involved in a project or campaign from beginning to end and seeing it lead to a positive outcome. Whether that is helping to deliver a key stakeholder event, supporting an association through governance reform, or guiding members towards a common direction on a strategic issue, I find it especially rewarding to see how structured support, strong collaboration and clear objectives can translate into real impact and stronger organisational effectiveness.

My Education

Master in European Public Affairs from Maastricht University

My Languages

English, Spanish, French and Dutch.

My Interests outside work

Travelling, dancing and tasting new food

My Favourite Brussels anecdote

What I enjoy most about Brussels is the variety one day can bring. You can move from a Board discussion to an EU policy meeting, a member exchange and an evening stakeholder event, each with a different setting, perspective and dynamic. Brussels brings together an impressive range of capable and committed people, and that diversity is one of the things that makes working here so rewarding.
