My Job
Within the European team at Teneo, I focus on geopolitics to help our clients navigate foreign policy, defense, trade, as well as competition and regulatory challenges.
My Experience
A diplomat by training, I started my career working for the French Representation in Brussels, the European Commission, and the Mayor of Paris’ office, before becoming the Foreign Ministry’s spokesperson for European Affairs. I was posted as Deputy Director for Press and Communications at the French Embassy in Washington, D.C., Deputy Consul General in Hong Kong and most recently Deputy Permanent Representative to the European Union’s Political and Security Committee in Brussels. Before joining Teneo, I also worked as a strategic adviser for the World Bank and spent a year with the US State Department’s Bureau of Public Affairs as a Transatlantic Diplomatic Fellow, focusing on international digital strategies.
My Specialisms
My Proudest Achievements
Teaching has always been something I enjoyed, and I had the pleasure to be selected as a Visiting Fellow at Johns Hopkins’ School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) – Center for Transatlantic Relations during my time in D.C. I still give classes on foreign policy to future diplomats and graduate students.
My Education
-
Master’s Degree from Sciences Po’s Paris School of International Affairs
-
Bachelor’s Degree from Cardiff University’s School of European Studies
My Languages
My Interests outside work
Sports in general, but I am a lifelong fan of the Paris Saint Germain football club for my sins!
My Favourite Brussels anecdote
The constant change and reinvention. I spent about the same amount of time in Brussels and D.C. over the years, and the two capitals are similar when it comes to their diversity and attraction powers, with young people coming from all over to work in and around federal institutions, constantly breathing new life in these relatively small but incredibly international cities.
