I lead the team specialised in advising clients in the financial industry on their advocacy and lobbying strategies on complex, cutting-edge policy themes impacting the financial sector, such as sustainable finance, the impact of technology and cybersecurity. I also assist clients in highly detailed financial regulatory issues, including towards EU agencies such as ESMA, EIOPA and the EBA.
I have been with Hume Brophy for the past 5,5 years. Previously I worked for 3,5 years as a financial regulatory lawyer, being admitted to the New York bar and Amsterdam bar.
My Proudest Achievements

My Interests outside work
I love to play football, skiing and hiking in the mountains. I have a great interest in politics, history & economics, antiquities. A great amateur and connoisseur of wines. And ever more concerned about questions of sustainability and the future state of our planet
My Favourite Brussels anecdote
The TV series “Yes, Prime Minister’”, despite being a few decades old and focussing on the UK, is a great way to understand the dynamics between civil servants and politicians and sometimes uncannily similar to how the EU institutions sometimes work
